Multnomah Falls - Layered to increase contrast, attempt #1.

Please provide feedback on the manual layers blend.

This image still doesn't feel like it has enough contrast. Were you just stacking the NDs on to get the soft water and lost contrast that way?

Where did you shoot this from? I've shot Multnomah Falls a couple of times now (though never frozen), and I found a spot like this a little ways up the trail, but foliage obscured the view.

In any event, unique angle for the falls (though the straight appearance between the upper and lower falls does detract imo), but overall, the image lacks punch. Also, the fg element is nice, but because the falls are frozen, I'd like to see them closer in.

Lotsa good stuff here, but image quality is still too low. Take care, James.
