dave holmes 0 Posted January 17, 2007 You're really good at this, you should really consider buying some lighting equipment, the biggest flaw in this is that head-on lighting (built-in flash?) The portrait is great! Dave Link to comment
joemoree 0 Posted January 17, 2007 Thanks a lot Dave, yes that is my next major investment is lights.I'm almost there, being poor that I am it's taken me some time.I cant wait till I do though get a set! The lighting I had here was a speedlight with a diffuser bounced of the ceiling.I also had a sb-28 set to the side bouncing off the ceiling and a whitecard as well.Hence the 2 catchlights in his eyes.I couldnt decide if I wanted to keep the 2 or PS one out, laziness in me went with the former. yves_d. 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Nice catch. How did you get the dark background ? Post-processing, or just with the flash ? Link to comment
dave holmes 0 Posted January 18, 2007 I'm no lighting expert so thanks for not being upset...I know about money being tight, wait till Noah goes to college. Jeez. Check B&H, they have kits for $100-200 that should do it for you. Also thanks for the continued visits! Dave Link to comment
joemoree 0 Posted January 18, 2007 The dark background was done with a black backdrop material. We would sit the lil guy up and shoot a few frames before he fell over. Thanks again Dave,Ill check into those. Link to comment
