DEGREEFOTO 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Hi Jan....thanks for your comments. Yes it is rather tasty to say the least....its cured ham made from Iberian Pig...which is found only in Spain. In a current world food fair in NY one well known US Chef mentioned that Spain had discovered America....but it was America who was now discovering Spain...in regards to food! This ham is locally known as 'Pata Negra'....black leg...and is now being exported to the US....at over ?100 a kilo locally...once the demand picks up over there...no doubt I am going to have to find a second job just to pay for some at the local deli. Have added some new jewellery shots in my folio if you want to have a look. All the best Artur Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 24, 2007 As for tapas, the idea is that there are many sorts of little things you collect to your plate: air dried meet, olives, greenies, onion etc. and you always have some spanish red wine to couple with tapas. Sure the bread looks good with the meet, but there is really no tapas ambience here. I love the tapas bars in Spain. Link to comment
