dareme416 aim 0 Posted January 16, 2007 A little pixellated, but that could just be photonet. Very, very, very interesting shot. Well put together and the colors are lovely. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Really well composed and great colours - such a silly concept but man it works!! I love this! I'm seeing it a little pixelly too. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted January 16, 2007 Yeah... I'm working up for the big GUNS... I'm waiting for VISTA to come out to get the high priced Photo Shop and looking for a good one. I'm using several cheap ones I use for several publishers and would love to hear what other people use. I love the smeared look (which means blurry to photo net people) so I have to remember I am an artist first when I get 3's. But I really am having fun doing these. Thanks for enjoying them :) ~ micki Link to comment

paul_louis_villani 1 Posted January 18, 2007 This image as well as the rest of the folder is pure magic! gs appear to be sitting above the image almost as if able to be touched! Brilliant work Micki! Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted January 18, 2007 Paul, that is why I have started posting the "real" photo so people can see why I have done the PS and the real photo too. The depth perception is still there on some of them and the clarity I just am having fun with the colors and the placement of the feet and 3D look. I also like the look of a painted feel and making the colors more intense and feel of a POSTER like look. I also want to have fun. Thank you for enjoying this. I'm sure there will be more! ~ micki Link to comment
rebekah1 0 Posted February 1, 2007 Micki: This photo and the one with your feet and colorful dishes are still my favorites of your abstracts. So original. I think that the composition, texture, and colors are perfect. Of course, as you can see from my portfolio, I do love to use colors. Snow is coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia tomorrow and I can't wait to get some winter scenes. Thanks for your comments on "Abstract Landscape II" and on other recent postings. It is fascinating to read PN members' interpretations of my abstacts. When I start with an existing photo and take it into Corel, I am never quite sure what it will become...kind of an unconscious process for me. I am a bit behind in my responses to everyone's kind remarks but I wanted you to know how excited I am about all your recent "Portrait Abstracts" and your creative adventures. I am still using Corel but also have Photo Shop which is very similar. My husband wants to wait on Vista until they work out the bugs in the new system. We would like to upgrade our computer so I can use the pen and pad instead of the mouse which is not very accurrate for drawing. Looking forward to many more shared adventures.
