If these are mallards, then they are gay based on your title. They are both males. The female is actually brown and mallards mate for life. If one dies, the other does not look for a new mate. Just thought you might like to know. the photo itself is great. Excellent detail and sharpness.

As said above, these two ducks are both male. To quote Seinfeld, "Not that there's anything wrong with that!" A good photo of the ducks, though. Maybe more like quarrelsome buddies than fighting lovers, though.
