Nice composition, DOF and exposure. I like how you have lined up the buildings somewhat diag.to the horizon. Great work!

Yasser, if you are counting this is the second shot from this location. I don't think you appreciate how barren the prairies can be. No, I'm not just sitting in a lawn chair at one location, we drive hundreds of kilometres to find these places. Just this Saturday my friend tye and I drove about for hours on back roads with no cell service through snow in -35 weather. Again, these are the scenes I enjoy. I don't take city scapes, portraits, street candids or other things. I don't have a problem with that sort of photography but this is what surrounds me and this is what interests me. If it doesn't interest you then there are other photographers who do have broader portfolios.

Everyone else, thanks for your comments and rates.

I like this shot very much - I have recently visited S Australia for hols and enjoyed nothing better than driving out to find interesting old buildings to photograph - i haven't put any on photonet yet. I (like you) am fascinated by these 'wrecks. I have not yet seen your previous work, but will have a look. The prairies look similar in a lot of ways to parts of Australia and i find that barren look very beautiful. will put some of my work up for critique in next few days.

Beautiful and exquisite composition! Love how my view is led from this old shack until the old wind mill, this gives depth to the image.
