Great job Doug. But don't you think that by torching someone's building you were going a it far just to get a good shot? (Just kidding!)

Thank you, Joseph, Gary, and Joe. It also has a bit of sentimental value to me.

I shot it with a Leica 111f, I had just won, in the first photo contest I entered. And Gary, the statute of limitations has run out. It was 50 years ago, this year.

Impressive photo Dough, for my own style i prefer to not to manipulate my photos, there are just two or three shots manipulated in my portofolio but it is just my own preference i have a deep respect for anybody?s art, just i allways give the advice if a work is good wihtout manipulations it is better to not to manipulate, there are lot of reasons for this. Anyway a BW conversion like your ?Inferno? must to be manipulated in digital beacause otherwise it is impossible to get a BW, so i like it beacause you do it in a high quality class, excuse my inglish it is a little limited.

Regards.

Hi Fernando. This was shot in black and white, way back in the 1950's, Colour was too expensive for me, and I only had a B&W equipped, darkroom. And colour was infinitely harder to work with, than it is today. I certainly admire your efforts in producing unretouched images. You've created much beautiful work. For me, this digital era is a playground, where needed corrections, that used to take hours, in a darkroom, can be done in seconds or minutes, with a few clicks. Thank you for stopping by. It's much appreciated.
