I like it, too! His little "hat" is great. :-) The only thing that I find myself searching for is the other eye. Obviously, it's hidden behind the tuft of feather there ... but it almost makes me want the photo to be taken from a slightly different angle to include a slight bit of the eye.

Yeah, I see what you mean, Lou Ann. These birds are so quick, it's a challenge to even get a decent shot! Most of the time, I end up with a shot of tail feathers! They land and take off almost in one movement. They are cute little birds, though (titmouse).

This is a nice shot. I guess the bird could be wering a pirate hat and have only one eye.

Great imagination with the curved bar and the near matching color sky. The difference is subtle enough to make the lines lift off the image. Very nice, thank you!

That's why I hesitated to comment ... I couldn't get a bird to sit still while I photograph him if I tried real hard.... Your photos of birds are a million times better than my best effort. When I comment, I try to mention things that my eye notices. :-) Please know that I admire all of your bird shots greatly! They really are wonderful!
