That's where portrait difference makes a call, great shot. Liking the fact her right eye is darker than the left one (both very sharp), the DOF is beautiful, so is the emptiness concept. Congrats, Bianca.

I like very much your choice of white to express emptiness. I associate it somehow to the idea of madness, of insanity, to a sanatorium-like environment...but maybe this is just my personal reaction.. :) her expression is striking, very well done ! ;)

Thanks Cristina.... On a different Dutch site a girl said exactly the same as you on the same moment.... weird..... It's a selfportrait and it goes about shallowness, keeping people in a distance, not knowing what is going on in the world and not worrie about it...... So that's in fact the same as your opinion, very nice.. Thank you!!!!

By the way... because it's a selfportrait doesn't mean I see the same things, hahaha. I loved your last upload, took to long..... :-)

Thank you everyone (of course if you don't like it so much, maybe some interesting stuff is coming, so you have to drop by again... :-)

A good picture but I think the caption/title of the photograph is not necessary - it would be more intriguing if the viewer could decide on the story themself? Very engaging though - good work!

I like the photo a lot. Makes me think of a mannequin and the ever lasting search for beauty. Exaggerated lips and what looks like a skin mask. However, I feel the lost/empty feeling... the empty feeling is achieved by how wide the eyes are... if the eyes are the gateway to a persons emotions... wide eyes are an open gateway of somebody pleading for somebody to come in. A great capture!

I loved the "surprised" look in her (your) face, like she was saying; what the .... is going on here?

Very very good!
