Any comments, critques, advice are welcome.

Good composition and nice colours.

I think this is a gorgeous shot, but the tree bothers me. It interrupts the fantastic panorama in the background. Did you not have a chain saw handy? The tree draws the eye away from the old fence and partially blocks the valley. But this is just my opinion. I love the colors of the blue and white. And if it does not warm up soon in Central California, my backyard is gonna look like this!

I really like this, Linda. Particularly, the foreground fence, and the way it extends, on down the hill. Haven't come to terms with the tree yet, but still think it's a great shot.

Or maybe not that much, but the frame color adds to it and maybe gives wrong impression! Black frame would have been quite appropriate! Or just the thick stroke! Maybe it would have been the best solution!

 

Nice spectacle and well composed, of course! According the rule: From the left to the right, from the bottom to the top, concentrated lines to the stop point (where the look will stop, the tree in this case)!
