Lots of respect from here, so wonderful and majestic image. The tones of the sky and the vast size of the clacier makes one feel humble. Yet, the rugged but not ice nor snow covered terrain, also tells a small story. Very fine capture!

This is one of the absolute best landscape photographs I've ever seen! Perfect colour combinations and the glacier adds motion and with the foreground framing and contrasting...Perfect!

nice work. The tones are very rich in this photo. i particularily like the 'texture' of the rough grasses in the forground.

 

can i ask about the D50? i notice that you have moved from the D70 to this model. out of curiosity - any particular reason? advatages?

The only advantage might be a bit more sensitivity to IR.. I'd never switch my D70 to it! It's my girlfriend's camera, so sometimes we just swap them depending on what lens we need to use :)
