tlascell 0 Posted January 13, 2007 I'm struck by the dramatic slice of light cutting diagonally across the frame. Great contrast, great tones; I'm metaphorically searching those shadows for greater understanding. Nice details in the shadows. It's not easy to work with such harsh light; you can lose your shadows to black, your highlights are blown out... This has a nice balance, incorporating the extremes in many visual ways. Well done. I'm a little distracted by the woman(?) almost obscured by the short rectangular 'pillar' at the right edge. I wish I could see more of her, or nothing at all. As is, she seems an accident. If intentional, call me a 'dunderhead' for lacking aesthetic subtlety. Link to comment
