Dry fruit in Black and white

This has been a great exercise in rendering shades and texture. It

looks at its best on a large print to view all the marvelous detail

that is present. The lens used is Canon 24-70, at 24 mm, and f16. Only

natural light coming from a window at the left,and using a reflector

at the right.

Exposure time 3 seconds, mirror lock up.

Its close between this or the color version. I think I prefer this one but the contrast seems a little high. Nice work. PS: I'm not a fan of the framing I guess its supposed to be paint...but that's purely personal.

A nice cornucopia of dried fruit with excellent control of light. It must be a particular pleasure to see a large print of this image and study these items in detail.
