Constructively and respectively speaking, I like the 2nd composition better without the rock in the foreground.

Thanks Paul. The small story behind this is that Nordic landscapes "live" in the history of people living there. Most scenes like this are "explained" by history by the acts of trolls, devils and Gods. These scattered rocks are certainly the result of a fight between ancient forces.

My apologies sir! Sometimes I see what I want to see!! I am ashamed to have prematurely judged the picture solely on an asthetic level. Looking again I see an image produced with knowledge, passion and spirituality and you should be commended for it!

Dear Paul, please don't take my comments as any critic of your first appreciation of the photo. In my view photos only exist by the view of others. Whetever I had in mind when shooting the scene only concern me if I don't manage to transmit the message by the photo. When I tell the story it is only because it might interest, not improve the photo as photo. You are totally right the others are in fact better photos.
