henrimanguy 0 Posted January 12, 2007 This is a little castle situated in the little town of Chef-Boutonne (Deux-S趲es, France). I had since posted one or two shots of it but you have not liked them very much, so I have delated them. What do you think of this one ? Thank you for your ratings and comments. Link to comment

treeffe 0 Posted January 12, 2007 I like this one, good composition with a lot of details in foreground as in the main subject, regards -Fabio- Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 12, 2007 Very pleasing sweep of lines, well framed the main subject. Love the wide angle prespective, the harmonious lines, the natural colors. A bit too much vignette in UL and UR corner, my only nit here. Link to comment
bigginger 0 Posted January 13, 2007 Hi Henri, This is a very good composition, yje leafy path leads the eye to the castle that is perfectly framed by trees. Link to comment
michelguyot 0 Posted January 13, 2007 parfait usage du grand angle au service d'une composition qui capte le regard, avec une forte impression de d飯uverte. Belle lumiere et beaux tons naturels, un peu de surnettete sur mon 飲an... Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 15, 2007 I like the composition a lot. The trees provide a lovely frame, and you have a unique perspective, looking up at the castle. I like the image, both compositionally and for the romantic value. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Thank you all for your ratings and kind comments. Would you like to see other photos of this castle ? Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Yes! I would love to see other photos of this castle. I love the beautiful castles in France! Link to comment
owp 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Henri, the framing and perspective make the castle look majestic. The strong light on the castle mutes the tones to make it appear from an ancient era. Very well done! Link to comment
soltani 0 Posted January 20, 2007 Great view of the castle, I'd like to see more.I have no new photos for two reasons:1. PN is filtered in Qazvin, where I live, yet it isn't in Tehran where I attend university. The new semester starts in 10 or so days. I hope to be more participative then.2. I lent my camera to my cousin, for the whole last month. The first reason is more important though.Thank you for your attention, Thank you. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 20, 2007 I like the composition of this image while the noise and the unbalanced exposure do degrade its quality, other wise the place it self is so beautiful and so pleasant to view Wishing you all of the best my friend Link to comment

alberto.conde 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Tres bon le point de vue. Il donne toute sa majesté et force au chateau. Bonne photo, Henry! Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted January 23, 2007 I like the angle and composition with foreground and framing elements...it really puts the castle in situation...(I support one of the previous commenters about slight over-sharpenning, altough it might only be present in this dimension and not in a larger print)...regards, Laurent. colin carron 58,916 Posted January 23, 2007 Good use of the tree trunk in the foreground. A nice three dimensional feeling. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted January 24, 2007 Agree with Colin, that trunk plays a great role. Wonderful perspective. Link to comment
