whydangle 0 Posted January 12, 2007 My friend and I were taken in by a man who lived in a Tee-Pee because we were stranded without a vehicle 50 miles from anywhere. On this morning, as I attempted to exit the Tee-Pee, the flap was frozen shut. It took a few whacks with some firewood to dislodge the Cowhide door, only to step into a winter wonderland. Your comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance!!! Link to comment
arash khoshghadam 0 Posted January 12, 2007 Hi Mark Your shot is great first of all because of the graphic details: Two balancing vertical figures against the horizon have created emphasis not only through contrast but also through position. The entry point into the frame is through the small stones at the bottom of the frame. They are grouped together inducing unity which causes continuation toward the tree on the right and climbing up to the brightest point in the frame. The lines in the clouds direct the eyes to the mountain outline and back to the tree on the left. The interconnection of elements ensure unintrrupted optical movement. The analoguos color scheme here is tranqulizing. The color continuity is great too. It has created a cold atmosphere . I also like the depth created by the foreground tree and stones, the texture in the midground and the mountain in the distance. Very eye-catching. Keep up the good work. Cheers. Link to comment
laurentbaig 0 Posted January 12, 2007 This is really neat. Seems a bit green to me, but it might just be my monitor. I like the two trees on either side. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted January 13, 2007 The blue tones convey the sense of coldness just as the tree to the left a feeling of starkness. A wonderful scene. Link to comment
