Wonderful picture,Steve. It appears unposed and natural and yet the composition and lighting are exactly right. How many shots did you take to get this one?

Thanks for your comments, Jack. I was using an older manual lens and I actually was demonstrating to him how I could shoot in very low light. I did a couple test shots to get the exposure right and erased them in the camera. Then I took this shot. That's it! I wasn't really trying to do a portrait. Sometimes those shots end up being the best!

I love the shot as well. As mentioned before it works because it looks natural. The colours all work well.

The unrealized shots are sometimes the best as you mentioned. The serendipitous joy of the craft. These colors are gorgeous!
