They have produced similarity element which is accentuated by the Gestalt principle of proximity of the elements ( also called contiguity principle. ) That has created unity and rytm The point of view yo have chosen has shows the bulding sideway not dead flat from the front side. The diagonal edge and the linear perspective leads the eyes to the building in the distance. and back to the chairs. This induced optical flow is repeated incessantly. I don't know where San Marco is or what its significance maybe. The presence of the chairs in front of the building has made me curious to find out more about the place. That's a merit in your shot: making people ask themselves questions about what they see. This is involvement. Link to comment
