My first post of 2007 and my first 'Underwater' offering. (What do

you mean, "...it doesn't qualify....?") Slow day in mid winter.

The fish was the only other living thing in the house. Fair game!

Comments\critiques will be gratefully received. Best, LM.

Adrienne, Thanks for your thoughts. Taken on a lark, I feel it came out better than I had hoped. Pays to experiment some times. Best, LM.

Looks like one of those fighting fishes, don`t know what they are called. This shot is really original and eye-catching, I like the open space on the right, VERY well done.

Jim, It is indeed one of those fighting fishes (Betta) and the main reason it's in a tank by itself. Looks like it was ready to take me on! :-) Best, LM.

Hi Len, I join the others, I like the placement of the fish, the negative space and the bubbles... good details, light and colors, and I'm happy he did not touch you ;-))

Fantastic! The black background, the bubbles, the staring at you fish. Great job for a slow winter day. ;)

Irena, Thanks for taking the time. Sometimes the results impress, sometimes they disappoint. I guess I just got lucky. Best, LM.

Adrienne, Thanks for your thoughts & for the effort you took to download your original version. The original looks a tad overexposed so perhaps your decision to heavily modify it was a wise one. Your modified version doesn't appear to be overexposed. Enjoy the day, Best, LM.

Thanks for digging down through my portfolio to comment on one of my favourite oldies.  Goldie hasn't been with us for a long time now but this one is a reminder of the joy we felt watching  him (?) swim around the fishbowl.  Yours is a most welcome visit.  Don't be a stranger.  Come again.  Best, LM.
