ciana_high 0 Posted January 11, 2007 Very clear picture, light from flash even makes them sparkle. Could almost read some of them. Link to comment
joanbn 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Makes me feel a bit sad even though I know they are where they belong...back home and off their wrists. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted January 23, 2007 My mom wore one for my godfather who went down in 1967 and was finally declared dead I believed 1976(ish) and I remember she NEVER took it off. when I saw all of these in the case all shined up (and this is only a few of a whole big case of them as I have a picture of Andrew taking a picture of them in the HIM folder) you just have a SIGH momment. The whole little area in the NAVY AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM dedicated to the Vietnam War is very moving. But, since my dad flew F4's over there, and I remember small bits of the war and the sadness of family's and the men not coming back it pulls at me going in there. Yes.... I always tear up! Just arriving back from a tour in Japan didn't help this time. Thanks for apreciating it! ~ micki Link to comment
