jan_piller 0 Posted January 7, 2007 A fine image - the colours are so rich! I think we have this type of flower grow wild in the forest called Lady slipper - it's very alien and you've captured a nice perspective that highlights that. Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Orchids - yes, they are a bit strange, but in an exotic & beautiful kind of way. I love what you've been doing with the light painting. I have a question for you ... I seem to remember that you were using some kind of home-made contraption to keep your shutter button pressed while you shine the light on the different parts of your image. Do you still do that? I have been thinking about that. I have a cable shutter release that has a slider that you can use to hold the shutter button down for long exposures that are not timed. Have you seen anything like that? Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted January 20, 2007 Ruud - thanks for taking your time. Jan - thanks to you too. I guess you are right about the name. Translated from Danish the name would be Lady Shoe. Kim - thanks for mention the light ( having your studio lamps in mind now) this was just a work to try some new lamps. I think it some way was like shooting sparrows with 'canons' ... two lamps on each 300 W. The challenge was to get the highlighted spots as small as posible. Any of your experiences will be appreciated very much. Thanks Kim. Lou Ann ... LOL .. I think it's funny you remember my homemade way with a rubber band and a pencil to keep down the shutter. Now I have become a little more advanced and got the cable shutter release like you have. I love it. Thanks for stopping and commenting Lou Ann. Link to comment
