geirrosset1 0 Posted January 5, 2007 So we have put people on Mars hehe. Very nice formations. Love the earth tones and the way the sand is trying to swallow up the rock in the centre. But there are artefacts in the blue gradient in the sky and around the flares from the sun. Maybe that is just because of jpg compression? Link to comment

dionysmoser 0 Posted January 8, 2007 That place is in the White Desert in Egypt. One of the most wonderful deserts I know! The desert itself is only 6'000 km2 uge but it is a real diamond! In the last 24 years I spent there more than four full years! So I know the area more than good, it is my second home! I organize since 1998 fototours in that desert. regards Dionys Link to comment
jefvandenhoute 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Strong image of the desert. Light and composition are beautifull. It has to be a feast to have you as a leader for photo tours in the desert. I have been tempted several years to go to the desert, mainly for photographic purposes. However the problem normally is that with those standard organised tours you get mostly there when the light is less interesting (midday) Link to comment
