The flower is nice as is the composition but I don't really care for solid backgrounds (black or white) for this type subject.

The flower is perfect! The back lighting, the texture, the colors, the "pose" - yes, one can hardly make a picture of a flower with each and every leaf just as it should be!

 

What doesn't fit here - the green leaves and the branch are somehow squeezed and it spoils the overall composition. Yes, I know how difficult it is to make a flower, especially a sun flower "pose" right with all details. If one looks only the details - it looks perfect, but seen as a whole - it shows the imbalance of the composition!
