Beautiful colors...can definitely see why they're called that in this shot! I think it was smart to compose it as you did...good call. Besides, rules are meant to be broken at times :)

Incase you ever wonder, this is located right next door to heaven...LOL

I grew up in Western NC, and have lived away a lot of the time since being an adult, but everytime I came back, My heart would start racing the minute I started seeing these BEAUTIFUL mountains. I live in Eastern TN now, and I still get exited going across The Great Smoky Mountains. You captured what I love most, and that is the Layers of color, and the peaceful feeling it gives.
