c_ceder 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Lovely scene and well exposed photo to get the beautiful silhouette. Perhaps I would have allowed a little more water in front of the pier to have the horizon more centered, it would look more pleasing. The horizon can also be straightened somewhat. tylerwind 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Kenneth and C Ceder--Thanks for the comments! I appreciate them greatly! As for the composition, I posted a shot a few days ago which I liked a lot and had about 5 people tell me the only problem was the horizon was centered so that is why I composed this one like I did! Well, I probably agree with you...I should probably stop trying to please others and trust my own instincts! :) Thanks for the critiques! Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Can anyone give me any suggestions to improve this picture or reasons it hasn't done as well as many of my other similar shots? I thought it was a neat panoramic composition. Furthermore, I thought the colors were great and liked how they swirled in the clouds. I'd be interested in hearing any opinions about how to improve this shot (I obviously cropped the top and bottom so I could recrop) or reasons why it doesn't stand out like some of my other ones. Thanks! Link to comment
unc0nn3cted 0 Posted January 4, 2007 I'd suggested you to wait till the sun comes a little bit lower - it won't make the spot that bright imho :) 6\6, thanks! Link to comment
