Andrea: It is hard to give a critique that is effective without begin honest.

The photo does not work and will not work regardless of what you do to it- that's just my opinion.

I do think the foreground with the trees and snow is pretty, but that building takes about at least 50 percent of your picture. If the photo is about snow falling on trees then why is the building even in it? 'Because it was there' is not an answer - a better answer would have been to not shoot the photo and find an area that was mainly trees and snow. Ken

How about trying it in just black? If you are trying to get better, than try - take your camera and go shoot another photo! You are allocated more than one photo in your lifetime.

...on a cold winter day. There is a warm fire inside and plenty of cheer to celebrate the New Year. Best to all!

Hello everyone. I've enjoyed seeing these very much. I've been very busy of late. I downloaded the elk to work on but have yet to get enough time. But I hope to return soon. Thanks for the smiles this evening with your works. (A good laugh with the witch and the snowmobile... some pretty ones too!) Take care all and stay warm. Best regards, ~Sky
