Thanks everyone for your kind words which I really appreciate. It was quite an experience finding my way out of the sand in the dark. I just couldn't resist the urge to stay a little longer and a little longer... All those "ponds" formed a maze I almost could not get out.

I love the detail in the sand. The patterns really drag you into the image. The colour in the sky and the reflection in the water contrasts nicely with the white sand.

Eugene, you were fortunate to get the intense color interest to complement the main subject. Very nice presentation. The crest of the dune is a wonderful line.
