Nice portrait but the lighting looks a little softer in the color version.

More than just a nice portrait,Joe. The composition doesn't do justice to it, though. The expression begs for a tighter crop. Half the viewers interest is distracted by unimportant detail. Just my subjective opinion of course. I tried a couple of things, but a tighter crop binds the interest to this delightful subject.

Thanks everyone,Doug your right about the cropping.I shoot portraits with the enlargment cropping space needed in mind so I dont cut into the actual image.I really should crop them before I post them online, however I forget most of the time. ;)
