To Ivana, Bruegel, Joseph, Ruud, and Bill---Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. I know that this particular canyon has become a popular destination for photographers, and there is no shortage of images of it on this site, but it is simply an amazing place to visit. Now, that being said--Bill there you go getting all "technical" on me again, but I understand the need to ask---that is the way we all learn. I went back and looked up my info on this image, and does F2 8seconds mean anything to you? It was taken with the 10-20mm lens that I specifically bought for my trip to Arizona, so what you see is pretty much from the ground up to the top opening. Thanks again to all of you for your support and comments. Regards...LJ

Yes it does. It gives me an idea of what is was like there. The "technical" thing comes from working with computers and on my cars.

Take care,

Bill

When I first looked at the photo I thought you were in Bryce Canyon, Utah. Looks about the same. Excellent photo the shading, tone and lighting. Did I forget composition will done......Craig

looks like you had a nice vacation and came away with some keepers. nice light and good textures. hard to determine the scale without some reference, but i imagine we are seeing about 60-70ft vertical. very impressive. hope your new year is off to a great start. regards, J.K.

Thanks to Cristian, Craig, and JK! Yes you are correct JK, it is difficult to get a sense of size by viewing some of these images. I do have one image with a fellow photographer in it, which does give one an idea of the canyon at that particular spot. Some places are only 2-3 feet wide, while other spots open up a bit more to about 7-10 feet. The joy of photographing in Antelope is the light play and shapes. It is amazing!!! Best wishes to all of you again...LJ

Thanks Sunny, Laurent, and C for the comments. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to go to Antelope Canyon, and it was the highlight of my photographic adventure in northern Arizona. I am pleased that others haven't gotten bored with these images, as they are becoming frequent on this site. Thanks again....regards...LJ
