Wow, great image! Especially her pose works very well with the BG buildings. Perfect composition, the tree branches on the top-left corner add much to the composition. I know how difficult is to make such a photograph. Congratulations!

Thank you all very much! For me it is one of my best pictures I made last year and it doesn't really works on the monitor... Well, I did this picture at 6 a.m., so only one person noticed us. :-)

This is a well-conceived example of the genre "figure in landscape". Nudity is right: it echoes the many baroque statues in Dresden. The figure brings you into the picture. Her pose is good, although I would have got her to move her hands higher - the right hand breaks the line of her bum . Turning to the foreground: I suggest you use PS to remove the stone lump in front of the figure. The strong composition is let down by the lighting. The sky is boring. The landscape has flat lighting - how about sunrise? The foreground is a dark mass. The figure cries out for fill-in flash. A big white umbrella with a portable studio flash out of sight on the right would bringer her to life. (Your attempt to brighten the figure in PS has given her an unfortunate halo.) Try cropping the picture to reduce the stone plinth and some of the sky - a panorama format works well with this genre. One final thought: this type of photograph can benefit from HDR - see the 2007 pictures in my portfolio. Worth perservering. Good luck. John

Hello John, also here again many thanks for your words! This picture originated early at six o'clock, unfortunately, hence, also the dull sky, there were no clouds. The contrast circumference was extremely high, however, I flash very much, very much reluctantly, I do not like this. Actually, she should stand on the black thing (this was once a flagpole), but these were on top too sharp edges in it. I have taken up the picture on film, the bright edge round them should show the old lab technology of the dodge-tool (sorry, I don't know the right word), this is absolutely wanted, I like this... The idea with the panorama is good! Regards Steffen
