Here is a list of birds that I have spotted (and photographed) at Coyote Hills Regional Park (Fremont, CA) for the past 2 weeks: American Wigeon, Mallard, American Black Duck, Northern Pintail, Cinnamon Teal, Northern Shoveler, Greater Scaup, Bufflehead, Ruddy Duck, Pied-billed Grebe. White-tailed Kite, Northern Harrier, Red-shouldered, Red-tailed, Cooper's Hawk, American Kestrel, Turkey Vulture. Scrub Jay, Loggerhead Shrike, Western Meadowlark, Say's Phoebe, Black Phoebe, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Bushtit, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Hermit Thrush, Spotted Towhee, White-crowned Sparrow, Golden-crowned Sparrow. Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Great Blue Heron, Green Heron, Black-necked Stilt, American Avocet, American Coot, Plover, Killdeer, Greater Yellowlegs, Long-billed Curlew, Sandpiper, Godwit, Ring-billed Gull, Bonaparte's Gull. You might want to be there during weekdays to avoid crowd. I also recommend you visit the park between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM to get better lighting. Link to comment
