williammccarey 0 Posted January 2, 2007 The colors leap out from the screen. This is a great image. Two recommendations: shift the foreground tree to the left (as you did in your other shot called "Untitled"--oh, all your photos are untitled. The one with the greener grass) that way you adhere to the aesthetically pleasing "rule of thirds" and secondly, I would clone out that sign by the cannon. Other than that, frame it and hang it. It's a winner. 6/6 anon. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted January 2, 2007 Great colours ... fog gives it a ethereal look. Link to comment
ewert02 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Nice colors and tones here. The hazy and fog-like atmosphere works well here. Good placement of the canon on the right side of fthe frame. Wonderful work! Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Extremely eye catching...if you want the nit picky critique details I'd crop out/recompose to remove the portion of cannon on the right and I'd like to see the other cannon a tad bit more clearly/prominent. But, those are picky just so I have some suggestions. This is a great photo...the colors are spectacular! Seriously, do you just go out and shoot every time there is fog? You are certainly the the photo.net "Master of the Fog" from what I've seen! Great work...I love it! Link to comment
johne37179 29 Posted February 28, 2007 How have I missed your work for so long? What wonderful images. Since discovering digital photography about five years ago (after 50 years with film and chemicals) it has opened up a great range of possibilities to use the digital environment much as all the other artistic media could be used for centuries. Painting with a camera and a computer is so well done in many of your images -- I'm blown away. John Link to comment
