karen rexrode 0 Posted January 1, 2007 The shot was taken in the evening with a setting sun. It was underexposed and as I began my color correction the whites were lost so I simply adjusted the darks and ended up with this. Otherwise the birds are exactly as I saw them, reminded me of a march, each group headed for the other. Link to comment

leroy laverman 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Backlit egrets are difficult to expose correctly. Where I shoot egrets they are almost always backlit. You've achieved a really interesting effect here. Link to comment
