atlatling 4 Posted January 1, 2007 Serendipity - A west-facing door was opened and a low sun angle cast the lighting. Link to comment
armpro 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Made an interesting abstract. The pattern on the vase in black and brown allows this to work. A colorful vase might not have been so interesting in this play of light and dark. Link to comment
chad_robinson 0 Posted January 16, 2007 I do like the lighting in this image but the negative space seems unbalanced to my eye. There is enough " air " around the top, left and bottom but looks a little tight on the right, of course this is just the rambling of a newbie. As a side note I look for your comments each week in the photo of the week thread. Cheers C.R. Link to comment
atlatling 4 Posted January 17, 2007 Chad, I thank you for your comments on the above picture, and I agree that there should be a bit more space on the right. This was truly a "grab" shot and I probably didn't compose too well. I guess I could add a little space with the magic of PhotoShop to improve it. See you in POW. Link to comment
