henrimanguy 0 Posted January 1, 2007 This is a single shot taken before the panoramic view I have loaded and submitted some days ago href="http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5295082"> here . Thank you for your ratings and comments. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 1, 2007 It is amazing how quickly the sky colour changes at this time of day. This is a fine shot with enough detail in the landscape still. Link to comment

jeff.grant 0 Posted January 4, 2007 Very nicely done, I like the way you have kept the detail in the landscape under the imposing sky. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 4, 2007 A nice addition to your serries Henri, very beautiful sky, and even the landscape is dark, the house complex is still seen. Link to comment
deniselanterman 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Henri, you've captured the magic lighting of dusk where detail is about to pass to silhouette and colors are heightened. Brillant image. Denise Link to comment
mspanakis 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Very nice light in the sky, no doubt, but I find the foreground a bit dark (for my screen) Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Thank you all for your kind comments. Manolis, perhaps it is your screen. For me, it is dark, indeed, but more or less as it must be at this time, you obviously cannot see details but you can distinguish the trees, the meedow, the house (roof, walls and windows) and differentiate the mounts behind. michelguyot 0 Posted January 6, 2007 Simplicite, equilibre, beaute. La vue "larger" est indispensable pour apprecier toute les subtilites de lumiere, notamment a l'avant-plan. Link to comment
mspanakis 0 Posted January 6, 2007 Yes, now I am viewing it on a different screen and it looks OK Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 6, 2007 In my early PS days, I would have brightened the foreground, for sure. At first sight, I had the impulse to lift the tones, but after looking for a while I must say, this is perfectly exposed and feels natural. Enough shadow detail on my (bright) monitor. Great color contrast Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Thank you for your comments. About the darkness of the foreground, I was satisfied whit it when I loaded this photo on this computer (at work), but yesterday I have looked at the photo on the screen of my personnal computer (at home) and on the paper print and I must admit that both are slightly clearer with a bit more details in the foreground. Bah!... Link to comment
amilarakis 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Excellent photo with very beautiful composition. I like the silhouettes of the mountains against the sky. Congrats ! Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 15, 2007 This might just be one of the most gorgeous shots from that place. I really love the dramatic sky here. Great work, Henri! Link to comment
Superbe travail.
