greg mccracken 13 Posted December 31, 2006 Great colours and detail, Len! Love that Velvia! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 3, 2007 Len, what is missing in that very well accentuated texture of the cabbage is an embrio....( one of the cliches , not only the stork is bringing babies... lol) Well exposed Len, nice dark BG, but why not the whole circle of its form? Anyway , I like the beautifil texture and its color. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted January 3, 2007 Pnina, I have other shots in my 2006 folder showing whole cabbages. I was trying to emphasize the more interesting center here as the edge of one petal (?) is much the same as another plus the green leaves were marred by bugs (see left side). No babies in sight but then I didn't bother looking way under the leaves. :-) Best, LM. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 3, 2007 Len I saw the UR, and played with that corner. What do you think?I tried as well to find the embrio, but this cabbage is steril ;-)) Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted January 4, 2007 Pnina, In my case it would have been age but in yours.................? Thanks for your PS upgrade though I think some bug powder earlier in the season would have done the job. Best, LM. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted January 4, 2007 Dorijan, Thanks for your participation. Sci-fi? In truth it does look like the negative image of a conventional cabbage. I guess that qualifies. :-) Best, LM. Link to comment

sallycd 0 Posted September 8, 2008 I have seen like this also in green I took it but it was not good as yours. The veins are highly magnified, that's the beauty of your composition but for me the frame made this looked like being suffocated. Thanks for sharing and sharing your wisdom too. sally Link to comment
