markboyer 0 Posted December 30, 2006 You're killing me with all this cute. I can't believe this guy poses for you. You have to keep him now, you know. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 30, 2006 We are keeping him, Mark. His name is Toby and he's become a cat from Hell so probably no one else would want him now. :) He IS sweet most of the time, but all of a sudden, something gets into him and his ears flatten and he attacks my hands! He doesn't do that to Ed - only me. I'm trying to train him to stop the biting, but it's like something comes over him and he can't stop it. So I grab him by the scruff of his neck and put him on the floor. I have to get Ed to videotape Toby doing this - it's actually pretty funny. We just saw a show on the Wildlife channel and a fox was doing the very same thing! Link to comment
birteragland 1 Posted December 30, 2006 I love it.I just got a black kitten that does the same thing, but its the bare feet at night when you are sleeping. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted December 31, 2006 Well the photo is very cute even if he savages you occasionally. Artistic temperament I expect, probably just wants to be behind the camera instead of in front. My kids were just the same. Threw them out though. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 31, 2006 Actually, Toby LOVES the camera - he gets jealous if I try to shoot my mannequin. He climbs the backdrop and tries to knock over my lights. If he is the center of attention, he purrs the whole time. Link to comment
jasmine1 0 Posted December 31, 2006 What a shot! You know she/he's paying full attention. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 31, 2006 I had a kitten once that attacked everything...I lived in fear. I couldn't even vacuum without the kitten throwing himself ferociously on the vacuum...he went outside and attacked a truck, though, which ended his reign of terror. He was so mean that I wasn't that sad. Your Toby sounds like he's just in one of those normal kitten stages....this image certainly captures the look! Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted December 31, 2006 ??? "Church" from Stephen King's Pet Cemetary??? Wonderful capture!! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 31, 2006 I think Toby is going through the "Terrible Two's" or else is teething. Most of the time, he's sweet, but every once in awhile, he's possessed! Thanks for the comments, everyone - Happy New Year! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Thanks, everyone. I'm sure there will be many pictures of Toby before I'm done. He's quite photogenic. Link to comment
