Basic ingredients

As Henri Amiel wrote, 'A man must be able to disengage what is

essential from the detail in which it is enwrapped, for everything

cannot be equally considered.' Doesn't this summarize what the

black&white photography is all about ? To disengage basic forms,

light and shadows from the chaotic details and colors and to enhance

and expose the basic ingredients of a moment. Thanks.
