fleetwheels 0 Posted December 30, 2006 The colour in the waterwheel and spars is really pleasing. I cant help feeling that a narrower depth of field, throwing the background out of focus, would have been beneficial. Shame about the coke can! Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted December 30, 2006 Hello Taha, this is quite an interesting combination of contrasts. The leaves with the metaland the bright colours with the obvious neglect. It's a nice piece of observation. Best wishes for 2007. Pete Link to comment
jana 1 Posted December 30, 2006 Hello Taha, What a pity You have not worked with less DOF. In that way You could eliminate the busy background, cheers Jana Link to comment
tidris 0 Posted December 30, 2006 I take all the points raised by colleagues here. One of my reasons for not allowing a lower DOF was to show the chaos and neglect (including the coke can) that surrounded the water wheel and yet in the background you will just about see orderly nature with a bench and a lawn beyond. Just my observations. Thank you for your great response. I will go back and take a shot with a low DOF as well and upload this for comparision. Link to comment
