Tim,

 

I always view photos in the abstract sense - dunno why...To me this is a photo that pays homage to the tree from whence these tables came. They are lined up very tightly in a very submissive "bow" to the grand tree perhaps the grandfather to them all.

 

Technically, very strong image with great tones and nice point of view. DOF is nicely focused, and the bough to the upper right corner anchors the image well.

Guess summer is over...hmmmm.... what a "cool" image..and the BW suits it well love the mood from the trees and their naked branches

I love the timelessness of this scene, the way that the trees are the focus. It's a beautiful shot with softness of the background with the sharp silhouette of the foreground trees. Great shot! 7/7!!

Thanks everyone for seeing something in this photo. Teresa, I think your New Years resolution should be to do a little more travelling. It appears that you really limited yourself last year to Africa, Anarctica etc. Don't mind me, I'm just jealous. Make sure you keep posting your travel images because we enjoy them.
