climbingstitch 0 Posted December 27, 2006 Thank you for looking and thanks for any comments. I am looking to gain any inspiration or ideas to maybe help find some more creative ideas for my work. I need to learn as much as I can about cameras and photography so I can better understand the tools in which I can be creative with. Thanks again for looking. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted December 27, 2006 I like what you are have done here but I don't think you have quite achieved the full potential of this scene. The right 1/4 of the scene is very dark, in particular the right 1/8 has little detail. I realize your intention of a dark brooding scene but perhaps some very subtle lightening in the darkest shadows may help. Otherwise cropping the 1/8 does not seem to affect the overall composition to a significant degree. I also think a good subject would really elevate this to a 'great shot'. Of course that is not an easy thing to come by or set up but then great shots don't drop out of the sky. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 27, 2006 I like this a lot...pulls me in with the lovely textured gleaming stones... Link to comment
gaetan balbo 1 Posted December 28, 2006 What Kah Kit said...when you see a scene like this, try holding the camera a little lower to the ground--that would shift the reflected light so the foreground would not be quite so dark. Link to comment
