I like the way you've handled the backlighting on the greener leaf, howvever I'm not so keen on the composistion. To me it seems like you've got too much empty space and the subject is just too central. Personally I'd prefer this image if you made a crop of just the green leaf, thereby removing the blank space to the right and the centralised composistion.

I almost took a similar photo yesterday...last remnants of summer/fall here in New England...the D200 is a great camera

The feeling is just great and the cropped version enhanced it. A good capture!

I also like the cropped version better. Nice shot either way but after you view the cropped one it's hard to go back to the original. Nice work.
