Very good composition, the shadow lines and corn stalks form nice diagonals, crossing the tractor trace. Moon in UL thirds is perfect. The sky / shadow tint and corn / house are beautiful color contrasts. Great DOF and detail.

Fantastic light - really stunning. Comp is spot on also and interest is added by having the shack out of the lines of grass stalks.

A place with potential.

I like the idea, the position of the house, the colours and the use of WA.

 

As far as the composition, I think it could be tighter. The foreground is empty. You chose a spot without grass, it is a pity. There is also quite a lot of "empty" sky. cheers Jana

 

Thanks for your constructive comment Jana. All around this building the grass has been cut pretty short. I kept the forground fairly empty, the only real interest is the shadows on the grass and the tire tracks leading to the old barn. A also decided to feature alot of empty with the moon being the only real interest there all to convey a feel of emptyness. If it didn't resonate with you, then it didn't. Thanks for looking.
