Stack 2. light, texture, patterns

I'm looking for critiques and comments and ratings on this photo.

This folder is for a project, and it will continue to grow as I get

more done. My goal is mainly shapes and textures and some lighting

patters, and the more abstract the better. If you have any comments,

ideas, words or wisdom that might help, I'd appreciate it. If you

have the time, I would really appreciate it if you at least visit and

try to do the same for the rest of the photos in this folder.

A very interesting abstract image. Nicely composed. What is the subject matter? Is it important that we can tell what it is? My only suggestions - the small bit of green showing in the lower left corner distracts from how the rest of the image is centered in the black space.

Part of the fun of the project I created was the what is it aspect. I hope that I can include that in some of my images. That bottom left I didn't get rid of because this is basically the raw image. Come time for me to print, I'll remove that, although I should have done it for here. I suppose if you come back and view it again you'll see the updated version.

Looks like this is a winner, of course that would also depend on what you want to do with it. I have a collection of textures and patterns that I occassionally draw from to use as backgrounds or inserts for other works, if that is your intention with this then.. yes.....this is definatly successful. Nice Shot!

Nope. Soft and blurry. Nothing on the sharp version.
