The composition is stunning with the city in the lower 1/3 proportion. your choice to include more on the sky has created gravity. My eyes go to that magnificent sky with so much ( as Aaron says ) ' tonal seperation'. The balance between darkness and light is excellent and finely-proportioned. The city is darker and thus more weighty but located near the edge. The sky is brighter and less weghty and away from the edges. The black and white has revealed the vast dynamic range in this shot and has turned your shot into a timeless one. You have done an excellent job.

Maciek, Great image. I love the imposing sky over the town. Good composition. The only thing I would try is to dodge the lighter tones in the white buildings a bit. Bleach them a bit, to take a darkroom technique, this may make them pop a little more adding an extra glow to the image. Overall, great image.
