bartimeus1 0 Posted December 18, 2006 Well, it is a sunrise-photo, but I kind of like it as it is. What do you think about it? Worth more than a 3/3, even with the light ball on the horizon? :-) Thank you for your thoughts and ratings! BTW. Please, view this one in larger version, I think that it is worth it. Link to comment
jim craig 0 Posted December 18, 2006 I think you turned a run of the mill sunrise shot into a very nice image with the use of the interesting foreground objects. An unattractive sky which you didn't include too much of which is good. Normally I don't care for the inclusion of the sun itself in these shots, but it doesn't bother me in this one. I might have tried to burn in a little more detail in the boat and shack. Well done and far from a 3/3 regards, Jim Link to comment

jarmo.glader 0 Posted January 18, 2007 You were faster than I; I get Your greetings from Krister - thank You so much! And talking about filters and nature photography, this is good example of photos Id like to shoot sometimes in future. My major problem is that allways over exposured the sky: in my photos its allways light cyan without clouds or brilliant contrast You have. For example on photos like this: where You meter the lightning? I just get the polarization filter and Im very excited to try it. About that: what would happen if I use that filter inside with studiolightning. Will that increase the colour contrast and saturation in there too? All the good to You Alpo and I would be very gratefull if You can tell me something about Your nature photographing technique! Link to comment
