Artistically, the life of the portrait is in the eyes. The stray hair across the eyes distracts from the photo. Hair draped across the face can act as a veil and provide a sense of privacy, but in this photo there is not enough hair to provide this effect. Also, the pose is direct and confrontational, and there is direct eye contact. The hair just gets in the way and disrupts the contact with the model.Technically, the photo is very well done with excellent exposure and good control of detail, focus, and shadow.

Michelle offers some good insights. I love the photo but do agree with previous comments. The one thing that bothers me is the white lace? pattern on the front of the dress. Otherwise, good work!

I like this photo, the models Look outfit and attitude works fine together.

The pose and composition is also fine.
