Oregon Coast

In the height of quite the winter storm, captured what I thought was

a neat, dreamy shot of the almost dark Oregon Coast. I would love to

hear any advice you might have, thanks!

Geez, Zack, that was a hell of a storm you guys had up there the past few days, and this is a really great image. I am assuming that you were in a safe place when you took it? Love the 'blue' effect. Cheers! Chris

Thank you Chris! Yes, it was one hell of a storm, I think I got out just in time (from the Willamette Valley and was out on the coast for "vacation"). The spot was safe enough at least ;) It was above the water a bit anyway.

I looked at the image and thought it would be perfect for one of those insirational posters with some corporate or educational message. I thought it was quite soothing. Then I read the description. Nice shot.

Your so lucky! I wanted to be at the coast during the storm. Instead I had to be in the house with no electricity. Uggg. Nice picture. Leanna:O)

Well placed the high horizon, emphasis on the troubled sea. Nice diagonal lines, the lowkey exposure and low-contrast works fine. I would desaturate a bit, if it were mine. The blue is over the top IMO
