kaushikphotography 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Nice rich color and the compositions. Like the simplicity of it.If you want, have a look... Link to comment
mary fran 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Really like this Jim, great contrast between the green and grey, great composition also. I'm thinking if I tried a shot like this on an overcast day I would not have had enough light--any technical details to share with a beginner? Link to comment
gungajim 75 Posted December 17, 2006 Mary (or do you prefer Mary Fran?). This was taken 2 1/2 years ago and was one of my first trips with a digital. It was pretty much blind luck. PS says the settings were as follows: 1/400, 4.0, ISO 64. I just got around to PSing it last week. I decreased the brightness of the sky and increased the contrast to accentuate the brooding clouds. Then I selected the inverse of the sky, sharpened the bridge and grass and probably fiddled just a little with their contrast and saturation. Hope this helps. Link to comment
mary fran 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Many thanks for the info Jim. We have some covered bridges I've yet to photograph, many are still in use. Prefer Mary Fran, thanks for asking but I don't mind Mary. Link to comment
