I like the concept of the canel curving away and the softness created in this image. Great mood. The only change I would do is to edit out the hanging branches in the upper righthand corner of this image. Just my thoughts. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Many thanks for your comments. As you have maybe noticed, I took inspiration in your portfolio about frames, but I am not fully satisfied with the results, especially with shadows.

 

For the image itself, I am not sure to understand what you mean about "edit out" ? I do not like very much to remove some parts of the photographs, even if I do it some times with electrical cords in landscapes !

Guy, I like this composition a lot! I think the branches in the upper right are just fine, in my opinion. What I am wondering is - did you try a black and white rendition of this image? It seems like it would have some excellent contrasts and tones. Beautiful shot, my friend! Cheers! Chris

Many thanks for your comments. It was a time when I did not have yet a numeric camera. It is a long work to dig out of thousands of old photos, to extract one like this. Your attention to my work is an encouragment. Thanks again.
